It’s a crazy world……..strange news from around the globe……..
It’s a Friday and I’m not feeling too political today. Sometimes we need to just be a little fascinated by the world that exists around us. If you want something that will take your mind off of the mundane political world, then continue reading.

How this guy survived is simply astonishing. I don’t believe in the idea of ‘luck’ but looking at the picture makes me think that if people can, indeed, be lucky, this guy just might be the luckiest person alive.

So if the Brazilian in the previous story is the world’s luckiest, what does that make this unfortunate Norwegian? While driving along a country road the driver swerved to avoid a collision with a Moose, only to drive into a bear. Yeah, your rates are probably going up after this accident.

You talking to me? Russian gangster learns the hard way that no matter how tough you are, there is always someone tougher.

EBay is banning the sale of magic spells beginning on August 30, 2012. That still gives you time to buy your boss that special hex you’ve had your eye on ever since he called your PowerPoint presentation complete crap. Oh, and they are also banning the sale of ‘advice’. Heck, I’m loaded with free advice, never thought I could sell it on EBay. Ah, the money I have lost.

If you think that America has had some strange weather this summer (you would be right!), but at least we have escaped the Seaweed rain that struck one English village.

Speaking of wierd news
I hardly look for it anymore but I've feeling not too political lately and went looking for good old dose of Daily Rotten and it ended on February 12.
Dr. Sputnik's Society Pages, that I think is by the same author, is still there. But still that old Rotten Page was once the best place to find weird news and had such a large following that they never missed an oddball story.
I guess it's rotten no more for me.
The wife tells me
that based on likelihood of extinction, the bear was an unfortunate choice, as there are 100,000 moose and only a few hundred bears. Should have chosen the lesser of two evils.
Correction
120 bears.
I know, he killed nearly 1% of the Norwegian bear population
Poor guy, it was definitely the classic lose lose situation.
This is pretty strange
Nuclear butterflies
Tonight's Party--
feel good music!
Strange news: taking the battle offline
When someone learned learned that his kid brother had "fraped" his Facebook page, he didn't get mad. He got even.
oh that was so so so cruel
I love the little brother's moment of honesty: I think I'm too lazy to turn it back the way it was..........that was so mean.
Strange views
And a quote from the photographer who took that photo.
odd Russian gangster story
and it gets weirder toward the end. "The athlete, known for his short temper...had a nervous breakdown after the incident" and "the dog ran away...and remained on the loose".
I've seen Eastern European films. This incident clearly calls for a dramatization.
I love Russian gangsters, they are terrifying.
Yeah, the tagger at the end about the dog still being loose just makes the story that much better. It was definitely my favorite story.
