The Federal Aviation Administration is working towards putting the finishing touches on rules and regulations for widespread domestic drone use, and the agency expects as many as 30,000 UAVs will be in America’s airspace by the decade’s end.

New information - related to Benghazi consulate attack

The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the "safe house" in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed "safe".

Blowback in Libya

Al Jazeera is reporting that the US Ambassador Chris Stevens and three staff members were killed during attack in Benghazi over US-produced film deemed insulting by Muslims.

Last year Stevens was instrumental in helping the Salafists from Benghazi in their efforts to overthrow the Libyan government.

Thoughts and Background - Attacking Iran

My best guess is that there will be no attack on Iran prior to the election, about 90/10 odds. As we have seen over the past 4 years the Obama Administration can continue its threats, warmongering and assaults on civil liberties with relatively little public opposition as compared to what we saw during the Bush - Cheney years.

Those of us who migrated here from orange know this very well.

Democracy Now - Interview with Daniel Ellsberg - Video

The topic is Julian Assange and Ellsberg congratulating Ecuador for standing up to the British Empire to protect him.

Note that in the video Ellsberg mentions a coup, a policy coup in the US Government "10 years ago". General Wesley Clark said essentially the same thing in his speech before the Commonwealth Club of California back in 2007.
