Anonymous Hacks IRS Database — Publishes Romney Tax Returns
Free Wood Post - News that is ALMOST Reliabe

Late last night, the mysterious group of hackers known as Anonymous successfully hacked the main database for the Internal Revenue Service. The group appeared to have a singular target- Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Romney has been criticized by both parties for his failure to produce more than one past tax return. According to Ann Romney on ABC’s “Good Morning America” they had no intention of ever disclosing the contents on those returns: “We’ve given all you people need to know and understand about our financial situation and how we live our life”. Anonymous however, seems to have thought that we “the people” might want to know a little more about the man who seeks the White House.

The Anonymous attack successfully retrieved 25-years worth of Romney’s tax returns and published them without permission on major websites throughout the Internet. The majority of these websites removed the returns within minutes, however it was too late to completely protect the candidate’s already tainted image. We at Free Wood Post were able to examine Romney’s 2008 tax return and found that he had good reason to fear its release. The 2008 return paints a picture of an extraordinarily wealthy man, whose low tax rate and bizarre itemized deductions will surely raise many questions as to his suitability to be President.

That will make a nice sometime avatar for geoMOO. I'm about to change to one I like, but you have to look at it closely to see the message.

Anonymous is very cool, and it is satisfying to see exposure. I expect there will be much excitement in some quarters. Now I wish they would uncover what Obama was doing during 1983 and 1984 when he was working for the known CIA front, Business International Corporation.

Good morning.

Google searching email is pretty chilling.

But I am glad that voice search is coming to iOS. I just got my first Android and I love the voice search capability, but hate that I'm always signed in to google for eternity on my Nexus 7.

Okay, I'm on day six of this stupid fucking diet. Last night, I dreamed of eating pizza, Doritos, and Kimchi fried rice. I have no energy at all. None. And I hate everybody. EVERYBODY. Especially undergraduates.

Great post by Jesselyn Radack

The Washington Post has an article today on how Daniel Carter Jr. was fired for "liking" a page for clicking the site's thumbs-up button. This was not a pornographic, racist, or other prohibited website--it was a Facebook page for a candidate who was challenging his boss.

This is part of iceberg tip of workplace free speech rights. I represent a client, Peter Van Buren, who was not only prohibited from using any social media--on his own time, on his personal computer--but the State was actively monitoring anything he did: blog, Tweet, update his status of Facebook, etc. The First Amendment should protect the digital "public sidewalks" of social media.

Both Carter and Van Buren's behavior is protected free speech.
