The Golden Teats and Hunks of Hollywood: Live Blog

Are there enough people watching the Golden Globes to do a live blot? I'm watching as much as I can tolerate.

Several people seem to be on "journeys" tonight, like having quite a journey or, in some cases, seemingly in the midst of a journey even now.

I love jokes referring to our torturing nation. They might be fun if I could think of Cheney having to listen to them from behind bars. I refer to Homeland, Zero Dark Thirty, not to mention the more subtle purveyors of horrendous violent behavior. Yay America. Ha ha about the torture. But wait, they wouldn't be making these jokes if we were just now entering the sentencing phase of the trials of torturers and the lawyers and politicians who empowered them. Zero Dark Thirty wouldn't be so fucking funny, would it? And Obama would be riding a wave of popularity. Those who aren't connected with obscene wealthy and powerful imagine that it would be nice to be so popular. Not such a big deal for Obama. His needs are met in other ways.

See? Live blog about the Globes.

Affleck is great at looking permanently ironic. One of the most appealing looks in america today. Don't worry, I'm not really serious about anything. But I like him anyway.

Amy Poehler makes me laugh a bit

I'm going to run an analysis on how close the extreme sight line of that dress approaches the edge of her aureola.  Any guesses?   Anyone finding their eyes taking careful measurments?

What makes Hollywood go, oh, what makes Hollywood go?

Hey geomoo

I'm watching. Well at least Poehler mentioned the controversy so people will look it up. I think they were funny for the most part. It's hard not to like Tina Fey in multiple ways as a performer and as a man because she is hot. Argo was good.

Booo! Jessica Chastain won.
