Legal analysis: the Constitution and identity

The thing is, I'm not qualified to formulate a legal analysis, as I am no where near being a lawyer.

Scott Skinner-Thompson, however, is a law professor at NYU and has written an analysis of lawsuits brought by Lambda Legal against Idaho and Puerto Rico because those jurisdictions do not permit changes to gender markers on birth certificates that they have issued.

Judge Andre Davis adds a name to an illustrious pantheon

Two days ago the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated the preliminary injunction entered by the court in June, 2016. That injunction allowed Gavin Grimm to use the boys bathroom, but since SCOTUS' action sending the issue back to the Circuit and Gavin's imminent graduation, the case has become "mootish" (except for the damages or if Gavin returns to the school as an alum).

65-year-old Mondell V. Olson read a newspaper article about a local transgender boy's gender journey. The article offended him.

So, what to do? Mondell called up Nevada High School and left a voice mail. Twice. He left the message that he would kill, brand and otherwise mutilate the body of the transgender freshman.
